Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
Plan, lead and control Project of Central Problem Management process with focus on prevention of Incidents. Managing and coordinating the analysis of the underlying root causes behind the incidents and defining the measures that contribute to the overall improvement of the IT processes.

Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Problem Management process.Producing management information, e.g. dashboard reports.Managing the work of Problem Management support staff (first-, second- and third line).Monitoring the effectiveness of Problem Management and making recommendations for improvement.Overall control of the process-conformity of problem tickets.Decision making about steps to solve problems.Communication with customers and top management regarding consequences, causes and development solutions.Perform Route Cause Analysis and produce actions towards the permanent removal of the problem worldwide andpresent the lessons learned in relevant corporate communications. 

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree
  • Experience 2 years’ experience within the IT field and specific SAP environment
  • Languages German – C1, English an advantage
  • OthersExperience in large, complex and international projects
  • Very good practical and knowledge skills of project management methods
  • ICT-Operations-Know-How
  • Practical knowledge of Quality Management
  •  Knowledge of Telekom IT processes, in particular related to the use cases Demand-to-Solution and Request-for-Fulfilment
