Responsibilities
CPlanning and administration of Network infrastructures LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WAN acceleration, VPN and remote access
Network Security, Firewall Solutions from Cisco, Juniper, F5, Fortinet
Ensuring maximum availability and network security
Creation of documentation
Contact person for the internal and external Project- and Application Responsible as well as Technicians
Planning, coordination and implementation of system installations
Second level support of pre-qualified error messages for routers, switches, and firewalls
Participation in the on-call duty

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Master's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
• University degree or successfully completed professional education
• Very good knowledge and experience with Cisco Firewall, Fortigate Firewall, Switche (Nexus, Catalyst, Meraki), ACI, ISE and Router
• Very good knowledge and experience with WLAN
• Ideally the CCNP, CCDP or CCIE certification
• Very good knowledge of firewall solutions from Cisco, Fortinet
• Very good knowledge and experience of the following protocols BGP, OSPF, STP, VPC
• ITIL knowledge
• Comprehensive technical solution competence, operational and strategic thinking
• Teamwork, responsible work and high service affinity
• Strong safety awareness
• Fluent English is mandatory, German language is an advantage
• Very good knowledge and experience with Cisco Firewall, Fortigate Firewall, Switche (Nexus, Catalyst, Meraki), ACI, ISE and Router
