We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy Jira Administrator to join our Business Enablement Collective's Ticketing & Support Team! In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal utilization of our Atlassian suite, the backbone of our project management and ticketing systems. You'll wear many hats, providing comprehensive support to our Workflow development teams, Project teams, IT support team, and the Business Enablement Collective itself. You'll configure, customize, and maintain Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This position is also available for fully remote employees (within Slovakia), with occasional travel to our office premises in Bratislava.
The Business Enablement Collective is a collaborative group within our organization focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As part of this team, you'll work alongside colleagues in Support, Customer Support Specialists, and the Business Enablement Catalyst.
Your Responsibilities:
Atlassian Suite Expertise:
- Manage the Atlassian suite(Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) ensuring optimal performance, security, and system health
- Expanded Support: Provide comprehensive configuration, maintenance, and administration support to the following teams:
- Workflow development teams
- Project teams
- IT support team
- Business Enablement Collective
- Configure workflows, issue types, custom fields, and screens within Jira and Jira Service Management to streamline ticketing processes, project management, and meet evolving business needs.
- Implement automations and integrations with other tools(e.g., Freshservice, Slack) to enhance efficiency and data flow across the organization.
- Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs, maximizing the value of our Atlassian investment.
- Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains, fostering a seamless user experience.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage, staying at the forefront of best practices to continuously improve our Atlassian ecosystem.
- Maintain user permissions and access controls across the Atlassian suite to ensure data security and role-based functionality
Optimization and Support:
- Analyze usage data and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, reporting, and user experience across the Atlassian suite.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian configurations, workflows, user guides, and integration processes.
- Provide ongoing support to internal teams on utilizing the Atlassian suite effectively for issue management, project collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure our configuration remains optimized.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with the Business Enablement Catalyst(IT Support Lead), stakeholders, and other teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Atlassian configurations.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure everyone leverages the Atlassian suite to its full potential.
- Promptly resolve issues with Jira projects and Confluence in coordination with other admins, partner teams, and Atlassian premier support, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows.

You'll be Successful if You Have:
- 1+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role.
- Basic to Intermediate Knowledge in Jira configuration, workflow management, administration, and understanding of Agile methodologies and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Bitbucket(a plus).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues within the Atlassian suite.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive and results-oriented work ethic with a passion for continuous improvement.
Bonus Points for:
- Knowledge of JQL for searching and querying within Jira.
- Experience with integrating Atlassian tools with other systems
- Exposure to extending Atlassian products via code or script
