About the job: 


The Supplier Risk and Compliance team in the Centre of Excellence in Bratislava is responsible for onboarding activities and ongoing monitoring of all the client’s outsourced and third-party suppliers, processes and systems, ensuring they operate within an established governance model to comply with regulatory requirements and both internal/external frameworks.  The team works closely with the client’s Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Procurement, Technology and Outsourcing Delivery teams in supporting the business(at a group level) with outsourcing and third party management. We’re recruiting for an Analyst to join the team to contribute to these activities. The Analyst position will report to the Supplier Risk and Compliance Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding of new supplier and ongoing monitoring activity for existing suppliers. This includes:
  • Executing due diligence processes(internal & external) for all outsourcing. high risk+ third party requests, from initiation to approval from all stakeholders
  • Monitoring the performance of the client’s suppliers, including mapping the correct risk/performance scorecards, guiding the service owner through the process, and ensuring reviews and approvals are obtained in a timely manner
  • Maintain outsourcing framework compliance information across the supplier information to enable audits and control reviews
  • Complete controls administration and self-assessment activities
  • Trigger and support quarterly control owner self-assessment process, ensuring that where issues are identified, action plans are in place
  • Perform independent control operational effectiveness testing, documenting results and providing recommendations to remediate deficiencies
  • Support the Supplier Risk and Compliance Manager in ad hoc tasks that may arise occasionally.
  • Ad hoc project work as required

Personality requirements and skills

This role would suit an individual with 2-3 years of experience in compliance, risk, control or procurement functions in financial services who is looking to develop their career. Full training on the client’s outsourcing frameworks will be provided. 

Essential Skills:

  1. Analytical thinking - ability to analyse data, identify patterns and problem areas and come up with improvement opportunities
  2. Strong collaboration and influencing skills to deliver results
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Excellent English skills required
