Synpulse is seeking a highly competent IT Business Analyst to support and be a part of the IT team with developing and maintaining insurance tools for our fast-growing partner, a new insurance company based in UK. We require excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving abilities and a track record of user stories creation, as this role will play a key part in the evolution of our industry-standard project delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, analyze, design and document user stories/features
• Elicit and document business requirements, business processes and flows, and user
system requirements through the project lifecycle
• Translate business requirements into specific technical solutions (+vice versa)
• Work in small agile teams and document acceptance criteria in the form of user stories
• Work with stakeholders and associated business units to reduce resistance
• Review impacted business processes and work with business stakeholders to
identify and make business process improvements that result in cost savings, higher
quality, increased efficiencies, lower risk, and shorter cycle times
• Monitor and provide support to end users and stakeholders
• Identify, analyze and document production defects
• Monitor usage patterns and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Makes recommendations on best practices for process and system improvements
• Help transition projects to BAU and set up a process for this
• Become a valuable member of the small change and BAU team within the company

Experience Required:
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, software development or a related field

Your skills:
• Strong experience within software development environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Act as driver - organise meetings and prepare clear software documentations
• Proven ability to write user stories, including strong acceptance criteria
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple businesses and stakeholders to find solutions for technical challenges
• Excellent critical thinking skills and an open-minded mentality for new ideas
• Excellent software development skills such as testing and designing
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent data analysis and mapping skills
• Understanding of API development and issue identification
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Experience of Word and Jira for documentation

• Strong Experience of insurance business or systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience of Miro
