Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Operations Control team is a part of the Operations function that falls under the Group Chief Operating Officer. The team works closely with Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Procurement, Technology and Outsourcing Delivery teams in supporting the business (at a group level) with outsourcing and third party management, business continuity management, operational resilience and controls testing. We are looking for someone to join the team to support and help achieve the scalability of the frameworks across the company and enhance our ability to provide insights and information to senior and executive management.

Your Tasks:
Outsourcing & Third Party Management
o Manage due diligence and onboarding of new third parties and ongoing monitoring activities of all third parties and outsourcers and the relevant systems used
o Support the Operations Control Team in implementing changes to the operating framework across the company

Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Operational Resilience (OpRes)
o Support in managing the BC and OpRes programme of work
o Maintain the integrity of the Business Continuity Management system by ensuring the data within is current and up-to-date

Operational Control Testing
o Manage the annual testing plan and programme of work and perform independent control operational effectiveness testing
o Maintain the integrity of the Controls workflow tool by ensuring the data within is current and up-to-date

Reporting & other tasks
o Prepare monthly reports of Outsourcing & Third Parties, Controls Testing, BCM & Operational Resilience as per agreed format


Experience Required:
o Graduate or 1-2 years of experience in compliance, risk or control function in financial services

o Strong collaboration and influencing skills to deliver results
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
