Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI development and administration, advanced data modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and deploy them to Power BI Service.
Configure and manage workspaces, datasets, dataflows, and apps in Power BI Service.
Utilize AI advanced analytics (PBI AI visuals, Python integration)
Schedule and monitor data refreshes; troubleshoot data gateway issues and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements and ensure report accuracy.
Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, DAX optimization, and incremental refresh strategies.

Personality requirements and skills

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service).
Strong knowledge of DAX and Power BI data modeling
Advanced knowledge of T-SQL
Experience with Power BI Serviceadministration: dataset management, workspace configuration, deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with Python for running machine learning algorithms and integrating results into Power BI.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory, ML).
Knowledge of Power BI REST API or PowerShell scripting for automation.
Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps) a plus.
