ASN analyst

As a ASN Analyst, you’ll focus on ensuring our Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN) process works flawlessly. This will require the identification of failure modes such as errors in data or messaging format and the communication of these errors either back to the vendor or internal support teams for correction. You will use the metrics to drive out reoccurrence and feedback vendor performance.
You’ll achieve this by working closely with our global supplier base to identify and resolve issues, whilst also providing the essential conduit between the supplier and our SAP technical team.
You’ll also be liaising closely with our in plant teams, ensuring that workload prioritisation is aligned.
All of the above will make certain that our inbound logistics processes work seamlessly, ensuring we continue to exceed our customer’s expectations. This position is able to deal with high level of ambiguity and complexity, anticipates potential risks, develops corresponding contingency plans, and is capable of acting proactively in order to support strategic and/or complex decisions.
You’ll also be liaising closely with our in plant teams, ensuring that workload prioritisation is aligned.
Your job will be:
• Running daily reports and downloads to show open daily issues and priorities
• SAP Triage (identifying issues and sending emails to responsible people/ suppliers/ teams or raising IT tickets)
• Open Text ASN Triage
• Reprocessing ASN errors and raising manual ASNs
• Rapidly responding to ASN queries from the plant or TSA or supplier
• Review monthly SPEEDY demerit queries for ASNs
• Work for 2 shifts
