About the Role

The L&H Claims Solutions team is seeking a Claims Solutions Consultant to lead customer-facing business analysis efforts across major claims technology programs. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end requirements gathering and translate strategic priorities into well-defined, actionable business requirements.

Acting as the connective link between Claims, Technology, Data, and Product teams, you will guide the analysis discipline, drive consistency and quality in requirements, and ensure that solutions deliver measurable business value across regions and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Requirements & Solution Definition

• Drive end-to-end, customer-facing, business requirement elicitation activities on large-scale technology programs.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Support product leads through the development of user stories, process flows, business rules, acceptance criteria, data definitions, and use cases.
• Ensure traceability between business objectives, requirements, design decisions, and delivered solutions.

Program Collaboration & Delivery Support

• Partner with program and project managers, product managers, architects, and engineering leadership to ensure alignment between requirements and solution design.
• Support sprint planning, prioritization, and scope management.
• Identify, articulate, and manage requirement-related risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Lead workshops, interviews, and cross-functional design sessions with Claims, Operations, Technology, Finance, Data, and external partners.
• Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders across markets and business units.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.

Quality, Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to program governance through consistent documentation, decision tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure alignment between analysis output and strategic claims transformation objectives.
• Promote continuous improvement of tools, processes, and delivery practices within the analysis discipline.

Personality requirements and skills

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Consultant, or similar role within insurance, financial services, or enterprise SaaS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead business analysis (including UX/UI solutioning and service design) for large-scale, complex technology programs.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong command of technical requirements, business process design, data analysis, and solution definition.
• Advanced skills with process visualization tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar platforms for documenting workflows, user journeys, and system interactions.
• Working knowledge of system integration concepts in a SaaS environment, including APIs, data flows, and middleware, with the ability to define and support integration requirements. Proven experience engaging senior business and technical stakeholders to align solution design with business needs.
• Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, technology, or related field
• Experience influencing senior and executive leaders to drive clarity, prioritization, and decisions.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of insurance claims processes (e.g., assessment, adjudication, settlement, investigation).
• Experience with modern claims platforms, workflow systems, automation technologies, or data-driven solution design.
• Experience with Product Owner responsibilities in an Agile environment
• Exposure to change management and operating-model transformation.
• Industry certifications (IIBA CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous.
• Language skills (German\French) desired.
