About the Role & team

The Asset Management Digital and Tech Transformation unit has the mission to enable AM to become an AI powered, data centric organization. We foster a data-centric culture and ensure a state-of-the-art tech and data landscape, smartly using public cloud and SaaS solutions to provide innovative, secure and cost aware technology services.


If you join us, as a member of the ACP (Alternative Capital Partners) IT team, you will be able to participate in a variety of interesting initiatives. For example, you will: 

-Further develop internal and client facing, cloud native full stack applications
-Provide a resilient and secure tech operating platform through continuous improvement and operational support
-Co-create advanced tech and data enabled services in global, cross functional teams
-Support many other exciting projects in a collaborative environment with colleagues from Swiss Re Asset Management's international offices

Key Responsibilities

-Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java (Spring Boot) for the backend and Angular for the frontend
-Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components
-Manage cloud infrastructure and deploy applications using Azure services (App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Key Vaults, etc.)
-Optimize application performance and ensure secure, scalable deployments in the Azure environment
-Maintain code quality and automated testing using CI/CD pipelines
-Provide operational support and troubleshooting of the production issues
