About the Role

As a Data & AI Enablement Analyst, you will support how Legal & Compliance uses data, analytics and AI to create practical business value across Swiss Re. You will work closely with Legal & Compliance experts, data analysts, project managers and technology partners to support data-driven solutions, dashboards and AI-enabled capabilities. This includes contributing to solutions on Swiss Re’s group-wide data platform, supporting Power BI dashboards where needed, assisting with data preparation and testing, and helping stakeholders shape practical AI use cases such as custom GPTs, Copilot agents or similar tools. This role is well suited for a curious early-career professional with solid data foundations, strong interest in data analytics, technology and AI, willingness to learn, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of Legal & Compliance-specific data & analytics solutions using our advanced data analytics platform.
• Assist in data preparation, modelling and visualisation to support monitoring of key Compliance risks and business insights.
• Contribute to the enhancement, testing and continuous improvement of digital solutions and Power BI dashboards.
• AI Innovation: Help identify, explore and prototype AI use cases, including custom GPTs, Copilot agents or similar AI assistants, to improve information processing and enhance efficiency.
• Prompt Engineering & AI Enablement: Support stakeholders with prompt design, testing and refinement, helping them use AI tools in a structured and effective way.
• Business Analysis: Support requirements gathering and translate business needs into clear, actionable inputs for data analysts, developers and delivery partners.
• Solution Validation: Support testing coordination, UAT preparation, test cases, issue triage and rollout readiness.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure delivered solutions consider applicable governance, data quality, data protection and compliance requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Legal & Compliance experts, data analysts, IT partners, Risk & Control functions and group-wide AI initiatives.


About the Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global Legal & Compliance Analytics & Innovation team, based in Zürich and Bratislava. The team is responsible for shaping the Legal & Compliance digital strategy and improving the use of data, analytics, AI, and technology for the benefit of Legal and Compliance across the Swiss Re Group, while driving insights for management and key stakeholders. Our services include business analysis, data analytics, data governance, and implementing innovative AI- and technology-enabled use cases. The development of analytics and innovation capabilities is a key strategic direction for Legal and Compliance.

You bring solid analytical and technical foundations, a willingness to learn and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You are interested in using AI responsibly and helping others apply it in a practical, structured and value-adding way.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Hands-on experience gained in a professional setting working with data, analytics or reporting tools, for example SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel or similar.
• Good understanding of core data concepts such as data quality, reporting logic, KPIs and basic analytical thinking.
• Strong interest in AI, prompt engineering and the practical use of tools such as custom GPTs, Copilot agents or similar AI assistants.
• Ability to understand requirements from non-technical stakeholders and explain data or AI topics in a clear and simple way.
• Curious, proactive and willing to learn new tools, platforms and ways of working.
• Comfortable with working in teams with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a dynamic international environment.
• Proficiency in English is required.

These are additional nice to haves:

• Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with business analysis, testing, UAT or rollout support.
• Exposure to Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit or other control functions.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
