About the Role

Step into a dynamic environment and get hands-on experience with real business processes. You'll be working with data, supporting the team with day-to-day tasks, and contributing to work that keeps a global organization running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
• Run data-based analyses - structured data tasks that provide real insight into IPT processes
• Work with various tools and systems - gain exposure to professional business software and internal platforms
• Organize insurance policy documentation - ensure accurate management of important policy records
• Support and collaborate with your team - work closely with your Bratislava-based colleagues on a daily basis
• Support filing and reporting processes - assist in the preparation of IPT-related submissions


About the Team

The Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) team verifies, files, and pays insurance premium taxes across 26 European countries on behalf of Swiss Re entities and branches. Based in Bratislava, the team handles a broad scope of international work - giving you a great window into how a global financial services company operates, right from your home base.

About You

You're a motivated student with an interest in finance, accounting, or business. You enjoy working with data, you're organized, and you take pride in getting the details right. No prior IPT knowledge needed - just bring your curiosity and willingness to learn!

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• Currently enrolled in university, ideally in economics, finance, or accounting
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• A proactive mindset – curious, takes initiative, and eager to learn

These are additional nice to haves:
• Knowledge of an additional European language
• Basic understanding of insurance, finance, or tax concepts
