About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and analytically minded professional to join our Credit Control team! This is a role where attention to detail meets international collaboration — you'll be managing a real portfolio of partners, diving into financial data, and playing a key part in keeping our insurance operations running smoothly across the EMEA region.
You'll grow your technical and interpersonal skills, connect with colleagues from diverse backgrounds across the globe, and gain meaningful insight into how a leading global reinsurance company operates from the inside.
Key responsibilities:
• Build and maintain partnerships with external clients through regular, professional communication and proactive relationship management
• Monitor account balances across your assigned portfolio, ensuring timely collection and accurate processing of premium payments
• Prepare monthly and quarterly statements and reports for your portfolio, delivering clear and reliable financial insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues from various Swiss Re departments around the world to resolve queries and drive outcomes
• Analyse and report on data using tools such as MS Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and identify trends
• Handle daily business correspondence, including the investigation, analysis, and interpretation of processed accounting information
About the Team
You'll be joining a dynamic department of 50 Credit Control professionals, organised into four specialised teams. Together, we are responsible for managing all financial transactions within the insurance portfolio, with a primary focus on premium collection for direct insurance contracts covering large risks. Our work spans the entire EMEA region, meaning we process, send, and analyse payments from brokers and clients across a wide range of markets and time zones. • Analytical and numerical aptitude – a sharp eye for detail, comfort working with numbers, and the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from financial and accounting information
• Strong organisational skills – ability to prioritise, multitask, and manage competing deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
These are additional nice to haves:
• Additional European language skills – French, German, Spanish, or Italian would be a great asset given our EMEA-wide scope
• Previous working experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field
