About the Role


This is an opportunity for you to join our Asset Management Operations team whose purpose is to support the trade life cycle processing of the products managed by the various desks, such as rates and credit products, securities lending, repos, derivative payments, collateral payments, real estate investments, acquisitions and many more.


As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for execution of daily cash and position reconciliation of Swiss Re Investment accounts. You will be part of Investment Account Control Services team which consists of 3 sub-teams, 18 colleagues in total. This role will allow you to see all events related to investment lifecycle and you will play a key role in ensuring all these events are executed on market as expected. To achieve this, you will be working with the tools such as Bloomberg, Aladdin, eFront and be in contact with internal stakeholders, as well as with stakeholders outside of Swiss Re, such as global custodians or external investment managers.


Key responsibilities:


• Execution of daily cash and position reconciliation of Swiss Re investment accounts
• Monitoring, investigation, resolution and reporting of any reconciliation outstanding items
• Reporting of investment activity to Finance
• Active participation in initiatives and projects
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Providing support to internal / external audit
• Challenging Status Quo – Suggesting improvements to enhance processes and tasks
