About the role:
Are you full of new ideas and creative ways to solve business problems? Do you have a results focus and strong influencing skills? Can you help our L&H Operations division to work more effectively with data to enable data-driven decision-making and better management of our Inforce business? We are offering an exciting opportunity to help define and implement a data and tools strategy to support the delivery of exceptional services by Operations.

Major responsibilities:
• Lead the identification, design, and implementation of service delivery improvements and the development of required capabilities through leveraging data and tooling solutions
• Leverage knowledge of and insight into business challenges and market considerations
• Set up and lead initiatives and projects, across data and tools, prioritising effectively to implement changes
• Identify and collaborate to build new solutions which leverage data and analytics platforms
• Develop structured business cases with clear benefit realisation metrics
• Enable adoption of changes by working closely with the Operations teams to support them
• Develop benefit realisation and process adherence metrics as required
• Work across Business Architecture to ensure process, data, tooling is integrated with risk, quality and knowledge mgmt. areas
• Drive the Tools (& Technology) roadmap in close collaboration with regional teams, COO, IT, etc which supports our business ambition & target process
• Work with stakeholders to ensure system interfaces with systems across E2E are fit for purpose and meets data flow requirements
• Represent Operations in organisational initiatives

About the Team:
The LH Operations Process, Data and Tech team consists of 10 members currently located in different offices across key Swiss Re offices globally, working closely with the Market Units, COO teams, Risk management and IT partners.
You would be working as part of a wider Business Architecture team, which also covers risk and quality and skills and capabilities pillars.

• You have demonstrable experience in either: process design/improvement, system and tool design/development or advanced data handling, analytics and interpretation
• You bring strong project and change management skills to be able to implement strategies through clear plans that can be executed effectively
• You work effectively with various stakeholders across the value chain and can easily move between operational, technical and technology topics. You adopt a partnership mindset.
• You have an eye for improvement and a preference to work with simple and pragmatic approaches
• You have excellent communication, interpersonal and influential skills
• You have a strategic mind-set, with strong vision of business direction
• You have the ability and courage to constructively challenge the status quo
• You bring a college degree or equivalent work experience as well as excellent command of spoken and written English
