About the Role

We are looking for an Analytics Product Strategist to join our team and help us to build the bridge between business and engineering. If you enjoy a combination of business interaction, hands-on technical work, and product management in a global environment, this might be the perfect role for you! You'll get to participate in a variety of interesting initiatives, playing a crucial role in translating business needs into actionable insights, developing analytics and AI products.

In your role you will collaborate with business experts, data engineers and product owners to build impactful data-driven products across a broad range of business challenges.

Your key responsibilities are:
• Design and build robust and scalable data-driven AI applications.
• Manage the data product journey, from conception to deployment and operation.
• Build user-centric data and AI applications that align with business & technological requirements, emphasizing user experience & data storytelling.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery

About the Team

You will join the Property & Casualty Data Analytics & GenAI team. Our mission is to harness the power of Data Analytics and Generative AI to create a competitive advantage for our business. By generating actionable insights, we aim to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve business outcomes. The team is part of Digital & Technology Re, a dynamic and growing department spanning multiple locations, supporting Swiss Re's largest business unit - P&C Reinsurance.

• Proficiency in modern coding languages (e.g., Python, PySpark, TypeScript)
• Knowledge in analyzing data and drawing conclusions
• Knowledge in machine learning, statistics or Generative AI
• Strong interest in learning about insurance & reinsurance
• Good communication in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear way for non-technical audiences
