About the team:
As the Engineering CoE department in GTS, our goal is to empower engineering teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and secure software. We provide a standardized, efficient, and innovative development environment, driving continuous improvement through software development standards, best practices, tooling, and shared resources. By fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability, we enhance developer experience, streamline onboarding, and ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards. Ultimately, we enable developers to focus on building impactful solutions while aligning with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Delivery Lead in the Engineering CoE, you'll drive initiatives to enhance Swiss Re's engineering practices and standards, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Your role includes:
• Align, Plan, and Coordinate: Work together with CoE Management to plan, align, and coordinate tasks and activities efficiently.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams across Swiss Re to ensure seamless implementation of CoE initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination to achieve project milestones.
• Develop Roadmaps and Track Progress: Create detailed project roadmaps, track progress, and manage risks and issues related to execution. Establish clear timelines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders across different divisions to gather input, secure buy-in, and ensure alignment with CoE initiatives. Build strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholder concerns and expectations throughout the implementation of CoE initiatives. Address queries and provide updates to ensure stakeholders are informed and involved.
• Facilitate Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for stakeholders involved in CoE-led initiatives, ensuring they are informed and prepared for upcoming changes. Provide necessary resources and support for a smooth transition.
• Governance and Standardization: Support the definition of engineering standards, frameworks, and guidelines across the organization. Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all engineering initiatives.
• Establish Performance Metrics: Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to measure the success and impact of CoE initiatives. Regularly review and report on project performance to drive continuous improvement.

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects and transformation initiatives.
• Application of project management best practices and tools (e.g. JIRA).
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong ability to manage project timelines, risks, and change effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Strategic thinking to align technical efforts with broader business objectives.
• Experience setting, tracking, and analyzing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive process improvement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
• Passion for delivering strategic initiatives and promoting continuous improvement.
