About the team
Our team supports Corporate Solutions products across EMEA including Property, Casualty and Financial Products. Our key responsibilities include loss ratio projections, rating plan development, model calibration and stand-alone deal pricing. We work closely with our business partners and encourage innovation that supports traditional methods.
This role will report directly to the Senior IRS Actuary for EMEA within Corporate Solutions.
About the role
Grab onto this unique opportunity to work alongside our Innovative Risk Solution (IRS) team, who are responsible for sophisticated out-of-the-box solutions to respond to specific client needs, providing you with exposure to complex and innovative products and deal structures as well as the chance to play a key role in defining at what terms and conditions a client should be accepted into the IRS portfolio.
Responsibilities for this exciting position include:
- Providing individual deal pricing on large accounts; modelling innovative solutions and complex structures (e.g. multi-year, multi-line, aggregate contracts) for the IRS team.
- Collaborating closely with our structuring and underwriting teams, including attending client/broker meetings.
- Working with internal/external partners to continue developing out industry-leading rating models and methods by making greater use of our technology, internal data assets and exploring broader datasets.
- Creating and maintaining costing tools and parameters in Corporate Solutions pricing platform.
- Undertaking ad-hoc actuarial IRS related projects as needed.

We are looking for an open-minded, trustworthy and enthusiastic team player. Having a curious and analytical mind you are always asking questions and searching for creative solutions combined with your customer focus and can do attitude, you would be an excellent addition to our team.
- Relevant university degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar and/or you are pursuing an actuarial qualification (e.g. SAV, CAS, FIA etc).
- 2-3 years of experience working in the re/insurance industry (prior experience in P&C insurance as a deal pricing actuary is an advantage)
- Advanced IT skills, including familiarity with Excel VBA, SQL. R and/or Python is a plus.
- Relevant university degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar and/or you are pursuing an actuarial qualification (e.g. SAV, CAS, FIA etc).
