We believe that by augmenting underwriting, digitising our value chain, and simplifying access to insurance, we can address evolving risks in the logistics sector by offering solutions that meet the needs of clients and partners.

About the Role

To evolve our digital cargo proposition, we are looking for a Data & Analytics Lead eager to contribute to developing key analytics assets to enable a fully digital value proposition and our go-to-market approach according to our digital strategy. In your role you will be focussing on:
- Establishing our digital and analytics framework to generate customer, sales, and risk insights
- Advancing data-driven risk assessment methodologies to improve underwriting and risk services
- Further developing our underwriting, pricing and portfolio steering capabilities

Your Contribution

- Establish and maintain a systematic approach to identify, qualify, and target highly profitable risk segments to push sale of most profitable risk segment (sales analytics)
- Lead the development of models to improve risk assessment, pricing and costing for our product-mix in collaboration with data scientists, actuaries, and underwriters (dynamic pricing)
- Enable decision-making by using different internal and external data sources and available state-of-the-art data processing platform (portfolio steering)
- Expand/maintain our data architecture to establish a single-source-of-truth to ensure operability of our key assets enabling digital cargo insurance (analytics information architecture)
- Act as a business owner for our key digital assets according to our data governance policy and in collaboration with tech, legal, compliance specialists (data & analytics tool Landscape)

About You

- University degree (Master's equivalent) data science, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering or in a relevant field
- 5 years of working experience in digital business, product, partnership development
- Fluent in English, any other language a plus
- Experience with developing data & analytics frameworks and/or complex digital capabilities to enable supply chain analytics, financial forecasting, predictive maintenance
- Knowledgeable in relevant quantitative, descriptive, predictive data analysis methodologies in order to collaborate with data scientists, actuaries, engineers
- Experience in developing information architecture, data management and governance
- Proven understanding of insurance legal boundaries to ensure feasibility of implementation
