Job description, responsibilities and duties
In Risk Management InfoTech we are at the forefront of Swiss Re's public cloud journey, using innovative technologies and combine it with engineering expertise. If You can bring powerful, yet simple solutions with an engineering mentality to build and extend Risk Management capabilities, then this position is for you!
As a QA Engineer you will be responsible for continuously supervising our application quality, reporting on status, perform manual testing on new features and improving & maintaining automated tests. We look for you to complement team of dedicated QA Engineers based in Bratislava working closely together with the development and business teams in Bratislava, Bangalore, Zürich and London.
You will build, maintain and improve tests as we further enhance our applications, functionally and non-functionally. Our main focus lies on test automation, continuous integration and fast feedback cycles while ensuring high quality.
You will work in an international and agile setup with self-responsibility while driving forward testing in assigned projects. Activities will include defining the test strategy, manual test execution and test automation on different levels and with various technologies. By following DevOps principles we strive to achieve high degree of automation with fast development cycle.
As the majority of our application landscape is hosted on public cloud you will learn and use the latest technology for MS Azure.

- Passionate about quality and willing to take ownership of quality of a product or portfolio of products.
- Familiar with test methodologies, test automation and continuous integration frameworks and tools
Optional:
- Experienced self-starter with the ability to work independently and strong focus on solving problems
- Hands-on knowledge of Java, .NET, TypeScript, Python, SQL is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
- Knowledge of processing business data and knowledge of reporting tools such as Power Bi is advantage
