Job description, responsibilities and duties

Picture this: You together with your colleagues help our Legal and Compliance community to maintain Swiss Re's global legal entity structure so that Swiss Re is conducting its business in a compliant manner. You show leadership through your pro-activeness.

About the role
In this role, you will mainly act as a facilitator between IT and Legal/Finance/Tax stakeholders by managing and supporting Swiss Re Group's global legal entity information tool. You will also support other tools and processes owned by the Business Management Team. Further, depending on your skills and interest you have the opportunity to contribute to a broad range of Legal & Compliance(L&C) projects and initiatives.

• You will support our tools and keep their requirements up to date
• You will interact with business users and with our colleagues in IT, communicate with vendors, test changes, provide project support, and functional training
• You will seek ways to optimize our tools and processes

About the Team
Legal & Compliance (L&C) Business Management is the central team within Group Legal and Compliance for innovation, technology, and operations. Our main responsibilities are to coordinate processes and initiatives within the L&C Function. Specific focus is on project management, process improvements, tools ownership and support and other operations topics. Our team members are based in Bratislava and Zurich.

Essentials
• University degree in business administration, computer science or engineering
• More than 4 years relevant professional work experience (e.g. as business analyst, in IT or in any other relevant field)
• Effective self-management and ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-changing environment
• Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel and PowerPoint); Microsoft Power Platform and Scrum experience are an advantage
• You are able to communicate with our business partners from diverse, multinational backgrounds and to explain technical subject matters to non-technical people
• You have excellent communication skills in English
