Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for a team lead for leading a team of Costing & Data Associates. Duties include the management of daily work, delivery of high-quality work to set deadlines, people management and leadership, drive improvement of processes where appropriate including transition opportunities. Responsibilities also include monitoring and achievement of Key Performance Indicators as well as active and regular communication with internal and external clients and stakeholders. Further responsibilities include process improvement to increase efficiencies and productivity.

Key responsibilities:

- Hire and on-board new team members and retain existing talents by creating growth opportunities within the team or in the company
- Talent management which includes establishment of employee development plans and manage performance through regular check-ins as well as the formal performance appraisal process
- Ensure robust, flexible and sustainable team structure
- Active change management
- Identify individual training needs for team members
- Collecting data from several sources (internal and external insurance documents) enter the data into internal database
- Review data for accuracy and completeness
- Set up costing for insurance policies

You will work with colleagues in various functions and locations and taking ownership of the Data Management. Personality requirements and skills

- University Degree
- Experience with leading a team at least 1 year
- Knowledge and understanding of Re-/ Insurance business is a plus
- Advanced in English (reading, written and verbal)
- Other European language (at the least ability to read and understand) is an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Office Package
- Ability to review results
- Ability to identify missing information, collaborate with others to fix data issues, and ensure accurate data entry
- Know-how of commercial insurance products would be a plus.
