- You will encounter various responsibilities from reviewing and verifying Re/ Insurance portfolio for Swiss Re worldwide, through analytical work, to communication with internal and external partners.
- Reinsurance is a stable area and therefore development in this business will never go to waste. Variety of performed activities will be keeping you in close contact with the clients and Swiss Re colleagues worldwide.

What will you do in this role?

- Processing and verifying the reinsurance accounts received from our global clients as agreed in treaties
- Communication with our internal and external clients (business correspondence, calls)
- Data analysis and reporting (MS Excel, PowerBI)
- Financial settlement with clients according to treaty terms and agreements, timely management of overall cash flow
- Data quality control and risk management related activities according to internal guidelines
- Ensure that the agreed priorities, timelines and service standards are achieved
- Contribute to long term operational improvement projects. Initialize development of new processes / methodologies / applications and automation of processes
- Independently identify, develop and implement step changes to processes that benefit the wider team / organisation.
- Mentor/Coach build expertise - develops capabilities of self and group in the area of technical expertise.

In your new role you will be working with the reinsurance contracts, handle the dedicated portfolio and you will be responsible for running end-to-end process of the accounts, including cash flow, data quality of the respective portfolio and paying claim settlements to our clients sometimes even of natural catastrophes you can read about in the media.

Personality requirements and skills

- University degree in the area of finance, accounting or economics
- English & French proficient written and spoken
- 5+ Years of Technical Accounting experience (incl. exposure to SwiftRe)
- Good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Flair for numbers and analytical skills
- Data literacy – ability to read and interpret data
- Good verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent teammate and willingness to share and support
- Diligent and accurate working style
- Proactive approach and eagerness to learn
- Solves business problems using own initiative and common sense
