As a Squad Member, you collaborate closely with our business representatives to design new solution and implementations and your squad colleagues to implement products in the Data Warehouse team. Building on priorities you, our business and the squad decide on how to implement priority user stories. You will be fully responsible for the solutions you have assigned to yourself and for applying your business and technical expertise with the aim to improve the value built for our clients.

You will participate in meetings with customers, identify their needs, work on requirements and find solutions. Your position will be the key for your colleagues to develop new solutions for our products.

In this role, you would:

• Apply your strong business analyst skills to understand business needs. Systematically collect requirements across individual customers and translate those into technical specifications.

• Help to improve the quality of user stories captured in the backlog.

• Identify, raise and help to address potential impediments.

• Identify and help implement improvements to the squad's collaboration and delivery effectiveness.

• Guided by the Chapter Lead, continuously grow own business, technical and functional expertise to become more effective in contributing to your mission.
• Adopt agile ways of working

Personality requirements and skills

About you

• Experience with business analysis in the field of reinsurance/insurance or finance, so you can translate business needs and requirements into designs as stories, accommodating the requirements aligned with our business strategy

• Sound experience with data modelling

• Solid understanding of SQL databases and related technologies

• Knowledge of analytical architecture, Data Warehousing and reporting tools

• Strong problem-analysis and -solving skills

• Experience in Re/Insurance, at least in basic aspects and processes e.g. contracts administration, steering, accounting, underwriting

• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (in English), including clear interpretation of technical topics to a non-technical audience

• A curious approach, constantly seeking opportunities to improve and eager to learn

• A great teammate attitude, pro-actively aligning with colleagues and contributing to the team's ability to self-organize
