Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Trade Finance team sits within our global Credit & Surety team. As part of the build out of our global Trade Finance team, we are looking for a Global Trade Finance Reporting Professional to join our team in Bratislava.

The person will work closely with Global Head of Trade Finance, to achieve monitoring and alignment of global underwriting actions, target tracking and financial reporting for efficient growth of the global trade finance business.

Core responsibilities:

- Monitor and report on trade finance dashboards, deal pipeline, underwriting information sources like S&P Capital IQ, customer relationship management systems and our target liability portfolio targets
- Communicate with global trade finance team underwriters on pipeline overlaps, pricing benchmark trends and more
- Monitor and report on underwriter goals including on budgets and financial KPIs per region, per products etc.
- Work closely with portfolio steering team to prepare reports on portfolio attributes and evolutions
- Actively run and steer the inputs to team meetings, trainings, compliance activities, marketing & events, internal/external communications
- Prepare Excel reports and presentations
- Build documentation tracking and know-how database for Trade Finance
- Handle strategies to keep global team aligned and efficient and liaise closely with operations team, legal team and other partners

- Excellent Excel (pivot tables, basic macros) and Powerpoint skills (graphs, imagery)
- Strong ability to digest numeric, financial and other data/information into concise messaging
- 3 plus years of relevant working experience
- Highly organized and focused on process
- Excellent communication skills and project management
- Experience in finance or accounting a PLUS
- You have a solution-oriented mentality
- You enjoy to work in an international environment
- Engaged and motivated, adaptability and flexibility
- Structured and independent work approach and strong analytical skills
