About the role
An ideal candidate should strive to share their expertise and help us increase our agile team maturity. Are you eager to be a change agent who helps our team members to challenge their status quo and builds a culture of continuous improvement? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for!
In this role, you:
•Facilitate and participate in all relevant SCRUM events across two product squads
•Able to effectively communicate value proposition of agile frameworks and agile events to participating team members
•Ensure team members understand the concept of performance culture in the process drawing focus on desired outcomes rather than focusing on effort spent.
•Coordinate dependencies with relevant Swiss Re internal partners (other squads and business/group-wide IT collaborators)
•Train, coach, and mentor squad members
•Foster self-organizing teams, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
•Collaborate with the Product Owner and Chapter Lead to promote a psychologically safe environment where team members can validate assumptions through experiments, learn from failures in the process becoming better.
•Support and promote an effective feedback culture based on the Scrum values
•Removing obstacles that are preventing the product teams to achieve their goals
•Drive the concept of continuous improvement on the agile journey
•Work in an international environment (Bratislava, Zurich, Bangalore) and with distributed teams based in multiple global locations.

Personality requirements and skills

About You:
You have a track record of being a scrum master for multiple teams.
•Have practical experience as a SCRUM master, certification is a plus
•Have good, applied knowledge of Agile methods, frameworks and tools
•Are willing to lead, direct, and coach squad members without formal management authority.
•Good understanding of concepts related to change management and have exposure to conceptualizing socializing and landing changes with moderately large teams of experienced professionals.
•Are passionate and want to inspire and motivate others
•Bring in a continuous improvement mind-set
•Excellent verbal and written English skills and proficient presentation skills; moderate expertise in PowerPoint and other virtual collaboration tools like Miro will be an added advantage
