Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Product Owner you will develop, maintain and co-ordinate STOD services (SeT & SOD) within the existing defined business model. Your position is in the SIC Organization and Coordinate/ work directly with the unified Set / SOD team (STOD squad) members to prioritize and manage what needs to be done and by when.

You will be a true leader with no direct line authority over squad members. You will coordinate closely with your Product Area Lead to stay aligned on business goals and make sure your Squad is progressing and delivering against them.

You will also represent the voice of the internal customer, and make sure that STOD Squad members understand customer needs and preferences. To get this work done, you will maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories that your Squad members will use to advise their work. Through your passion for the product, you aim at improving its values for the product's customer.

Goals / Vison of the STOD Service
The STOD Service - Service Transition (SeT) & Optimization & Decommissioning (SOD), the goal / vison is to ensure that the IT production changes do not collide with critical business activities, providing the Swiss Re wide roll-out coordination while optimizing the footprint of existing services for reduced complexity and costs. -Developing and aligning the service offering vision with strategic direction of Service Insights solutions.
-Set overall vision to advise, and prioritize the order of work to improve value within constraints of resource, strategy and compliance with an entrepreneur mindset.
-Co-create, prioritize and communicate product roadmaps and high-level squad backlogs using iterative techniques with feedback loops.
-To balance & manage technical debt and customer value, and deliver to Squad mission and objectives in shared accountability with the Product Area Lead
-Bring transparency of the backlog and align squad members with all stakeholders
-Ensure customer is heard and focused on by squad. Support the squad to deliver on budget, to clear scope, with clear mentorship on timelines with clear acceptance criteria

Professional Experience
-Good command English and preferably also in German.
-Good communications skills.
-Service and Process oriented.
-Client centricity
-Good Knowledge of SNOW and APM and the related elements
-Good analysis skills
-Very good understanding of application and infrastructure dependencies
-Good knowledge of IT Service Management concepts (ITIL)
