About the team

We are looking for a new team member who joins us in driving Swiss Re Asset Management's Responsible Investing strategy, and specifically our reporting approach. Do you have an understanding of Asset Management (AM) and Finance? Are you highly engaged and interested to develop knowledge in responsible investing?
The primary responsibility of each colleague within AM Finance is the facilitation of timely and accurate delivery of various reporting for the Group and Business Units (BU). The Responsible Investing team, located in the Asset Management department, develops and implements the Responsible Investing strategy. We integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations systematically into our investment process and implement specific approaches to support Swiss Re's ambitious sustainability journey!

About the Role

In your role, you will drive all aspects of monitoring and reporting results related to our Responsible Investing strategy. You will develop qualitative and quantitative information related to our three-cornerstone approach of "Enhancement", "Inclusion" and "Exclusion", which also integrates "Climate Action". Main Tasks:

• Prepare internal and external reporting related to responsible investment, such as: Responsible Investment Key Performance Indicators, including ESG, impact and climate reporting; lead the RI team’s contribution to annual external assessments, surveys and questionnaires (such as to the Principles for Responsible Investment, Asset Owner Alliance, CDP, etc)
• Collaborate with other teams involved in the Group Sustainability Reporting as well as regulatory reporting processes (such as annual report, TCFD, investor related information)
• Collect and analyse sustainability data for our annual qualitative and quantitative reporting
• Consolidate and analyse proxy voting and engagement data
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of relevant metrics and related processes
• Support the organisation in the automatization of data management and reporting requirements
• Maintaining and updating the Responsible Investing homepage

Personality requirements and skills

About You

Your key skills, knowledge, qualifications and experience:
• University or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance or Sustainability

• Progress towards CFA or CIIA designation is a plus

• Understanding of responsible investing and ESG

• Financial market and asset management know-how, including major asset classes and investment types

• Preferably 2 years of work experience in an asset management company, bank or other financial institution in a similar position is preferred

• Ideally experience in reporting of sustainability information

• Proficiency in MS Office tools, PowerPoint and Excel in particular

• Excellent written and spoken English skills
