iptiQ EMEA L&H sits within Swiss Re's iptiQ Division; established to deliver white-label life insurance solutions sold through our partners, directly to consumers. We are a dynamic, motivated and technology driven team, organised to provide creative life insurance solutions and engage with consumers in innovative ways. Through our strong operational infrastructure, creative thinking, insurance know-how and ecommerce competences we want to drive the digitalization of the life insurance business in Europe.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Finance Professional in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in iptiQ EMEA.

Working closely with the Valuation and Accounting teams, your focus will cover assisting with US GAAP and Economic Valuation Framework (EVM) results.

Your primary focus will be Life & Health but will assist P&C FP&A tasks when required.

You will preferably be based in Bratislava.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Support the consolidation and reporting of financial results for Forecasting, quarterly Actuals and Projection processes as well as ad hoc reporting and business performance analysis.
• Assisting with EVM process and presentation pack.
• Support 3-year Planning process
• Establishing reliable and efficient processes, drive operational excellence to improve quality and reduce operational risk
• Support iptiQ EMEA Management team reporting and cohort analysis.
• Support FP&A team by providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis to all relevant stakeholders
• Perform quality and consistency checks to ensure a high quality of your deliverables and outputs
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

About You

• You will have a University degree in Economics, Science, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Team-player, willingness to contribute actively and showing a high degree of own initiative
• You identify and drive continuous improvement in processes, systems and outputs.
• Confident communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to work with data and systems to apply good business judgement as well as independently deliver timely and impactful outputs.
• Advanced MS Excel modelling skills highly desired
• Your command of English is excellent.
