The Global Investment Reporting department was established in 2009. We have 6 teams with more than 40 members in total.
And what we do? It might be clear from the name: investment reporting. Our investments range from fixed income securities and listed equities through more interesting products such as private equity investments, hedge funds and derivatives. However, we are not only responsible for accounting & reporting of investments. We are also in charge of many projects, reviewing accounting standards, doing process innovations and what all of us do every single day - we work with numbers.

About the role
As Senior Investment Reporting Professional you will be responsible for monitoring of investment sub-ledger and reviewing reporting of financial instruments for our legal entities and supporting the transition from US GAAP to IFRS in 2024.
We are multi-valuation department. What is in there for you? You will have opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of investment products and understanding of relevant accounting principles (i.e. USGAAP, IFRS, statutory standards worldwide as well as regulatory reporting standards such as Solvency II) . You will work closely with external provider and partners from different Swiss Re departments.
As Senior Investment Reporting Professional, you will be responsible for following areas:
· Preparation of reports and analytical review and substantiation of the US GAAP P&L on a weekly basis for variety of investment products
· Communication with other departments (AM Finance, Data management, Product control team, Pricing team) to identify root cause of potential issues
· Substantiation and calculation of internal and external management fees
· SPPI (Solely payment of principal and interest) and other accounting assessments
· Expected credit loss analysis and reconciliation for US GAAP and IFRS
· Participation on development and improvement of Power BI dashboards used for P&L substantiation
· Participation on automatization initiatives related to other activities within the team

· University degree, preferably Accounting or Finance/Banking
· 3-5 years of Finance or Credit risk experience or (exposure to investments is an advantage)
Solid understanding of IFRS (preferred) or US GAAP standard
· Language skills: English proficient written and spoken
· Very good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) and PowerBi is an advantage
· Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
· Teammate with a strong communication skills
· Flexible and open for new tasks/challenges, willing to learn
