Job description, responsibilities and duties

What does the role entail?

• Confirming and ensuring timely settlement of all investment related payments and security transactions globally
• Working with internal stakeholders- such as trading desks, treasury, static data, reconciliations, compliance, IT etc. to mitigate operational, financial and regulatory risk on daily basis
• Liaising with global market participants (custodian banks, brokers, clearers, system vendors) on daily basis to resolve exceptions and fails
• Collaborating in initiatives and projects, onboarding of new tasks
• Challenging status quo and suggesting improvements to enhance processes and tasks

About You

• Basic knowledge of investments (the more the better, but we are willing to train you)
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to learn, openness and flexibility for new tasks and challenges
• Detail orientation and good analytical skills
• Strong teamwork and "can do" attitude
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another related degree is preferred but not necessary
• 2+ years of relevant work experience are ideal (suitable for fresh graduates as well)
