Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our team is looking for new reporting professional to join our investment reporting team. We have the ownership of the Investment Financial Accounting sub-ledger for all valuations and related reporting deliverables across different locations. This is a unique role which you can only find in our company!

You will gain the complex knowledge of investment products and a strong understanding of relevant accounting principles, across all valuations (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS, SII and others).

Key Accountabilities:

-Preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reports for our internal clients, as well as auditors and any other business partners
-Coordinate the daily operations of 3rd party outsourcing provider
-Examine the current accounting & reporting processes and propose areas for improvement and optimization for the future target model
-Develop an understanding of data flow, system landscapes and system interactions impacting accounting transactions under relevant valuations and provide insight that helps to ensure a smooth flow of information through the accounting & reporting life cycle
-Work hand in hand with Business analysts to ensure Investment Reporting's requirements are translated into delivered products

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

-Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in finance, e.g. accounting, reporting
-University degree with emphasis in Economics
-Solid understanding of either US GAAP, Statutory & Regulatory, or IFRS
-Ability to learn new technologies
-Ability to interact with different departments across organization
-Project management experience is advantage
-Presentation skill is advantage
