Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be part of the Stargate Center of Expertise (CoE) which is part of the recently established Group Data Services (GDS) organization.

The Stargate CoE consists of a team of enthusiastic data strategists, data engineers, architects and platform specialists dedicated to realizing the full potential of Swiss Re's data. We engage with all parts of the company, enabling them to formulate and implement data ambitions, to develop group-wide data assets and to provide data-driven products and services to our clients.

About the Role
Are you interested in tech but not technical yourself? We might have a role for you in Stargate CoE! You will at the heart of Stargate being involved in day-to-day operations from helping with team calendar to running comms events.

What will be your tasks?
- Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings/events
- Proactively handle schedules
- Handle day-to-day operations and specific tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare slides and briefings
- Onboard new joiners – both internal and externals
- Ad-hoc tasks

About You
- Experience with Administrative type of job
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Powerpoint
- Strong communication skills
- Strong detail orientation and analytical thinking
- You are able to understand problems and work to some degree independently on solutions with focus on detail without losing overall picture
- Willingness to learn, openness and flexibility to tackle new tasks and challenges
