About Risk Management (RM)

Our RM function helps ensure Swiss Re's profitability and sustainable growth over time. This ensures that Swiss Re can honour its promises. Risk Management makes Swiss Re itself more resilient: We help the business to steer away from risks that could destabilise us and identify risks worth taking. We create risk transparency applying our knowledge and experience and bring an independent, global and long-term perspective.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for you to join a select team that is designing and maintaining the business and data architecture for Risk Management. In this hands-on role, you will be a reliable partner to our leadership team and all RM functions. You will support them in taking on new challenges and building a future-ready architecture. Key tasks will include:

- Data modelling & information management: Understanding, structuring, sounding and maintaining data requirements
- Drive a common approach for automated data procurement & distribution that fosters overcoming both current and future challenges
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with data owners, application owners, business and project teams to translate requirements into solutions.
- Clearly articulate a value proposition to end-users and higher management by acting as a bridge between business and technical audience.
- Clarify or assess budget & effort implications.
- Evolving our RM data strategy whilst advising projects regarding efficient re-use, technological feasibility and relevant principles (architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, tools and standards).
- Mentoring junior colleagues, you acknowledge as an enrichment.
