About the Role

Glad you’re interested! We’re looking for a Technology Solution Architect to ensure the best partner on-boarding, integration and collaboration experience on our cloud based Life & Health Insurance Platform. You’ll be on the frontline of changing the way insurance is bought online.

As an Technology Solution Architect within the iptiQ Technology Insurance Solutions team, you’ll work in a multi-functional environment to understand partner needs and technological landscape, driving the technical conversation end-to-end and align with the engineering teams to evolve our insurance platform.

Your day-to-day activities will include:
• Create strong relation with the client, being the entry point for all technical requests
• Manage, end to end, the client-facing onboarding ensuring proper integration, driving them through a correct path and overcoming all the technical and non-technical challenges, setting the seal on scalability and resilience of the solution
• Propose solutions that fit with our platform standard and company strategy
• Create strong relation with the business development: have good understanding of the product and the partner
• Prepare live demo to show-off the platform capabilities for new leads
• Work closely with the development teams to learn and discuss the core-platform technical capabilities, aligning with them about potential upcoming requirements and contributing to the design of the solutions
• Support project teams with design and architecture decisions
• Contribute to the further requirements definition of our core capabilities
• Contribute to the improvement of the “technical toolkit of the solution architect” (technical onboarding tools)

This is what we will look for:

You have a deep understanding of how technology works and concept like scalability, resilience and security are part of your daily vocabulary. You also have a good understanding of how IT infrastructure works and how to communicate effectively technical concepts with partners. You have a passion for technology and are now looking for a job with a global impact:

• More than 5 years relevant working experience in IT related field, including experience in managing team members, suppliers, vendors and partners.
• BSc or MSc in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar) or equivalent experience gathered on the field
• Deep understanding of IT systems and integrations layer (Interfaces, API, Gateways, Network, Auth etc)
• Strong experience in designing and modelling technical solutions matching the company vision
• Practical skills in applying state-of-the-art procedures, tools and methods to realise IT solutions and systematically solve problems.
• Thorough understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Proven ability to own, drive and manage change across a complex environment.
• Very strong team working skills, ability to promote cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and spoken). German, French, Italian and/or Spanish are an advantage.
