Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a Junior Database Engineer who is enthusiastic in contributing to innovative solutions for multiple database platforms running on Public and Private Cloud. The core aspects of this role lie on maintaining and supporting in a secure and stable way database platforms for all Swiss Re business applications.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Design, evolve and maintain multiple database platforms
- Create, develop, and own data pipelines to move data across multiple systems
- Automate data processes and improve overall code base
- Build and run responsibilities working in an operational setup
- Build close relationship with SwissRe Group IT and Data services

You will be joining a dynamic, very dedicated, and cross-functional Database team located between Bratislava and Zürich within the Global Technology Services department.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
