About the Role

iptiQ is revolutionizing the insurance industry by building the most sophisticated after-sales service delivery supply chains using the latest technology to solve complex problems. Therefore, we are looking for a solution-driven Head of Operations Engineering and Analytics Team who recognizes the value of robust services and can help us design, enhance and operate operational solutions for contract administration, claims management, commissions, payment, billing, collection, customer management and interaction. The role pulls these elements together in a diverse, challenging and rewarding position for which we are seeking a highly engaged and open-minded person.

You will lead and shape the Operations Engineering and Analytics Team, which will be responsible for insurance platform operations across P&C and L&H across EMEA for all the distribution models. You will recruit the team of Operations engineers, Business Architects and Data Scientist. You will work closely in cross functional teams across the unit, within and outside of Operations. You and your team should act as a SME for the Operations area of the insurance value chain by working closely with other business owners within and outside of Operations to understand their strategy and vision. Using the inputs of different business stakeholders, you will be empowered to articulate business requirements and work closely with Product Owners to understand the solution and with Solution Architects to understand market needs. You will be in charge of designing and developing the business concept and operational framework (incl. requirements) and defining end-to-end service operations based on partner and customer needs and business requirements and help build the most sophisticated technology solution.

Together with the team your role will be to drive business value from data: providing Business Owners with relevant information to improve business KPIs and help them to build and maintain models for business decision making. Based on available data, you should be able to identify operational problems by observing and studying the functioning and performance of systems and be proactive in providing operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering trends. You should drive the Operational excellence by defining, studying, estimating, and testing alternative approaches aiming to improve the overall efficiency. Your job will be to anticipate and mitigate operational problems by analyzing and studying operating targets, modes of operation, and unit limitations. You know how to apply machine learning and operations research methods to improve supply chain and data management, using different industrial engineering methods, operations research and data science.

You demonstrate strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail in evolving the design and implementation of our B2B2C core business platforms. You drive and achieve industry-leading reusability and scalability across our partners, products, countries and business models such that we operate an efficient and effective digital business platform with well-controlled operational risks. Your task will be to enhance automation despite inherent process variance and systematically reduce error rates.

You should participate in design reviews and support execution efforts between internal teams and build strong working relationships with all the business stakeholders across the organization to be able to identify and lead process improvement initiatives in support of operations teams.

You will report to the unit's COO.
