The opportunity

As a Vice President / Senior Auditor in the EMEA Chapter, your will participate in various audit activities, with a focus on the Operations and Change Audits. You will be constantly challenged to learn new areas of Swiss Re, to assess the effectiveness of the relevant processes and controls. This role is an opportunity to deal with themes that have organizational impact and driving the risk culture of Swiss Re.

How you can make an impact?

- Owning audit tasks delivery within an agile audit team; your key tasks will be to assess processes and controls in scope of an audit, and to provide quality audit issues, clear audit reports, and compelling business insights to Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Review both business and technology change programmes, providing the business insights that can help in achieving its strategic objectives.
- Challenge the audit teams to excel through acting as a behaviour role model.
- Deliver audit work with limited or no intervention from Product Owners, Functional Audit Managers, and Chapter Leads, including the execution of local, regional, and global audits.
- Co-develop data analytics to assess control related outcomes and employ data hypotheses to test data sets with the audit team and Data team in GIA.
- Participating in local, regional and global audits, positively impacting the other GIA Chapters and using your areas of expertise to contribute effectively to GIA's audit plan
- Participating in Agile / SCRUM methodology ceremonies within the Chapter to promote continuous learning and forward-looking assurance and coaching members of the team on individual subject matter themes.
- Participating in GIA's critical initiatives and projects as opportunities arise.

Requirements for the employee

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Who we are looking for?

You are curious, think creatively, strategically, generate innovative ideas and deliver effectively with what can often be ambiguous requirements!

In addition, you are passionate about innovation and transformation including but not limited to data analytics.

Furthermore:

- 3-5 years’ experience gained within a major Financial Services firm, with exposure to change or, transformation audit or assurance (Governance, Risk Management or Compliance)
- Good understanding of risk and control, gained either as a change practitioner or in a control function
- Demonstrable skill in identifying key risks, dealing with the ambiguity of evolving change portfolios, connecting the dots between business strategy – change agenda – change delivery – business impact.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- University degree (preferred)
