About the role


This is a part time role (50%) with a flexible approach.
You will be responsible for obtaining claims documentation through an electronic communication platform, entering claims information into our legacy systems, monitoring reserving levels and preparing payments. In addition, you will report comprehensive claims information to the Claims Handlers.

Your essential responsibilities will include to:
• Obtain documents from brokers through an electronic communication platform, examine claims documents received and undertake any required adjustments
• Establish claims files in legacy systems
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of claim documents, including claims payments and claims setup, and other non-core claims processes
• Review client inquiries regarding open billing invoices as well as statements from clients and brokers
• Identify potential claims to be referred to appropriate personnel
• Provide operational support as needed to various business departments
• Work with the Accounting team to book corrections and assure ledger accuracy
