Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be part of the Third Party Cyber Risk Management security service team. The goal of this team is to identify and assess third parties with a high cyber risk exposure, assess compliance with security best-practice-standards, specific internal requirements and ensure in close coordination with third parties that risk mitigation activities are implemented.

You will coordinate activities between specialized offshore assessment team and internal stakeholders and build up an internal network with specialists and service recipients across the whole organization.

You will be involved into third parties' assessment process and thus, you will have a chance get insights into many companies and learn about different approaches to handle cyber risks. You will coordinate and supervise the remediation actions and risk mitigations.

Your responsibility is to plan and coordinate daily operation activities, contribute to process documentation, build awareness materials, lessons learned and security reports.

About the Team

You are a member of CSO organization. Your new colleagues are based in Bratislava, Zurich, and India. The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is Swiss Re's central point for security activities with the mission to keep cyber and physical risks within the acceptable tolerance levels. The CSO formulates Swiss Re's group-wide security vision and strategy and drives as well as implements required security capabilities to address the fast-changing threat landscape, regulatory developments, and clients' expectations. If you want to contribute directly to Swiss Re's cyber security initiatives, and work together with internal and external parties to improve cyber security, and make cyber risks transparent? Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Any experience from these areas is an advantage: information and cyber security, project management, security risk assessment, data analysis, data protection, internal audit
• Interested in security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST, ISF etc.
• Ability to communicate and supply operations at all levels of the organization
• Good to excellent command of English
• Solid understanding of digital technologies, fast learner and good listener
• Motivated with strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
