Job description, responsibilities and duties

“Our mission is to support and administer the reinsurance deals”
We are the backbone for our client managers, who originate and renew the business with our clients

-Your main tasks delivered in English language
- Acting as a point of contact and partner for Client Managers or Market Underwriters (client facing staff)
- Handling of own portfolio with long term ownership
- Monitoring the end-to-end processes, coordination of pending tasks, deadlines and follow-up actions
- Administration, data entry and contract management
- Data gathering, analysis and reporting
- Preparing presentations for client visits, client events and conferences
- Daily use of Swiss Re tools, applications, and MS office package
- Cooperating and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams (Technical Accounting, Claims, Underwriting, etc.)
- Possible participation in projects and initiatives
- Occasional business travels to other Swiss Re locations


About the team
We are a multinational, dynamic and engaged team of more than 60 Business Coordinators, directly working with and supporting the client facing team, divided into smaller teams according to EMEA markets. We act as one team, we strive to expand our reinsurance knowledge, develop professionally and provide excellent service to our stakeholders.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Required education: Secondary School and/ or University education (Ideally in the area of economics / business administration)
- Previous working experience in the field of Business administration or Insurance/Reinsurance is an advantage, however also suitable for a graduate (at least 2 years)
- Language skills: English and French fluent
- MS office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
