Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an UX Designer with a proven track record, responsible for driving the end-to-end design process, from Discovery to Delivery. Given our industry, we need a creative mind not afraid to tackle more technical or analytical solutions – like insurance!
Our business is reinsurance, and our aim is to make the reinsurance product experience intuitive and user-friendly, leveraging best-in-class UX patterns and approaches. Together, we will attract and retain customers around the Globe, and support them to address some of the World’s most urgent challenges such as climate change or closing the protection gap.
About the role
- Work in a transdisciplinary team with Product Owners, fellow Designers, Developers and Business experts to ensure we develop solutions that are desirable (human-centric), (technically) feasible and viable (business-wise)
- Own the experience for a couple of products, in which you will guide and implement the continuous improvement or define overall concept and build from scratch.
- Set up and conduct user testing and synthesize and leverage insights to iteratively improve product experience
- Define personas and user journeys based on primary and secondary research
- Hold workshops to synthesize insights or brainstorm ideas
- Consult with business partners to define product offerings and features based on user needs
- Use our established Design System and apply it to how you craft your solutions
- Collaborate closely with visual designers to implement the experience
- You will support the set-up of analytics tools and synthesize insights to improve your product
- Consider and implement WCAG 2.1, AA accessibility web standards
About our team
We are a diverse and dynamic team of experienced and motivated individuals who are passionate about solving complex ideas through simple designs.
Our Design Team is organized around products – and you will be too. Instead of time-boxed projects, we are responsible for experience design of a landscape of products at various stages of their lifecycle.
Our product portfolio consists of approximately 150+ web and mobile apps supporting all reinsurance business functions such as Sales, Underwriting and Claims Management.
Our guiding principles are collaboration, pragmatism and agility. With this, we seek to accomplish good acceptance and adoption, efficiency gains, and last but not the least – happy users!
