About The Role

Do you have Finance knowledge, which enable you to explain financial data and coordinate globally with cost controllers, partners and analysts? Do you speak English fluently and are you able to communicate results accurately? Would you like to join a department that offers plenty of career opportunities in Bratislava? In your role as a Business Partner SCA, you will perform tasks in following areas

Service cost accounting:
• service catalogue management
• management of service cost recharges within the Group, communication with SCA stakeholders
• coordination of cross-divisional changes in the admin cost distribution

Business partnering:
• provide yearly and quarterly financial reports and review them with Senior Management/ stakeholders responsible for given units
• prepare various presentations, ad-hoc analyses, simulations and impact assessments
• be the main point of contact for selected business units

Divisional cost controller support:
• be an active partner to the cost controllers and provide support related to the service cost accounting topics and processes
• regular preparation of internal reports based on SAP reports
• responsibility for preparation of the FGO sign-off process (regular internal cost review)

The position is within the Finance Group Operations Division. Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

About You

• Excellent understanding of Corporate Finances or Cost Management, previous Controlling experience is a plus
• Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and make decisions/priorities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery
• Stature and confidence to interact at Senior Management level
• Excellent social skills (communication, persuasiveness, team orientation)
• Strong influencing, interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Able to deliver high quality also under pressure
• Strong team member with a "can do" mentality
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Good understanding of Swiss Re's organization and operational reality is a plus
