Job description, responsibilities and duties

Can you handle the analysis and management of big IT budgets? Do you like optimization projects and can find the fine line between financial efficiency and high quality of services? We're looking for leaders who could make the difference and help us achieve our challenging objectives.

In this role, you will participate in the following activities:
- Management, analysis, planning and consolidation of IT services and costs
- Consolidation and optimization of contracts, active engagement in order to improve the quality and cost of the services of the IT unit
- Responsible for leading and coordination of internal projects in Agile environment, RFP initiation, transformational projects
- Creation of financial reports and analysis for the team and senior management
- You will collaborate with a variety of vendors such as hardware, network services or application development providers

About the Team

Our Provider Management Chapter consists mainly of senior IT Service Managers and Product Owners who are responsible for around 70 Vendors and are doing their best to provide high quality services, with great lead times and for reasonable costs. We're a 10-12 people team working in 3 different locations (Slovakia, Switzerland and US) and belong to the organization of Group Technology Services (GTS) where we provide IT services across the Swiss Re group in all of its locations.

Requirements for the employee

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

If you meet the following criteria, we are happy to meet you:
- Experienced Financial/Service/Delivery manager in the area of IT (min. 3 years of experience)
- Managing financial budgets or contracts of IT services ranging from hardware, network services or application development
- PowerBI or any other BI experience
- SAP, Coupa or any major financial/sourcing tool experience
- Detail-oriented, diligent, has great analyzing skills and is an efficient communicator of complex financial topics
- A team player with the ability to take initiative and responsibility
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Can cope with leading initiatives remotely and still find some time for a joke or two
