Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for assigned topics in a Data Warehouse environment (includes data modelling tasks, specifications for transformation tasks and data quality tasks)
• Own and handle problems, incidents and change requests for assigned topics in the Data Warehouse environment, mainly for Group Functions.
• Support roll outs, including communication with clients, coordination of user acceptance tests and user trainings
• Ensure smooth teamwork between business requesters and the Data Warehouse team

About the Team

• We are a team of analysts and specialists, spread across multiple locations globally, taking care of the Group DWH function at Swiss Re.
• We are responsible for all stages of software development life cycle including business analysis, solution design and platform management for the Group Data Warehouse covering Insurance and Reinsurance functions (about 60 source systems and 60 export interfaces)
• We are the main points of contact for our customers, business partners and enterprise architects for all Group DWH topics.

Requirements for the employee

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• You should have 3+ years of working experience as Business Analyst
• Good English language level (spoken and written)
• Data modeling experience are required
• You love data and are comfortable with SQL for Oracle or MS SQL to perform data analysis
• Strong analytical, requirements gathering, solution designing and problem-solving skills
• Additional experience Palantir Foundry/Python is a plus
