Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of our cultural and digital transformation, Swiss Re's Organisation and People Development (OPD) division is also changing the way we communicate and promote our people solutions and initiatives to our employees.

As Marketing & Community Manager for OPD you will be in the driver's seat to transform the division's traditional change management approach into well-orchestrated, digital, data and community driven, creative and targeted marketing and communications strategies, plans and campaigns. To do so, you will work closely with the centres of excellence, cross-functional project teams as well as learning and talent communities within and outside of HR.

THIS MAY INCLUDE:

- Develop and execute creative marketing and communication strategies, plans and approaches in the area of Organisation and People Development
- Act as a change agent and drive the promotion and communication through internal channels, platforms and media
- Build and maintain on-line communities to better understand their needs and keep them engaged
- Implement and maintain a digital and web marketing strategy based on the business needs and priorities
- Plan and execute internal events, campaigns and create impactful marketing materials together with internal and external partners
- Collect, analyse and interpret data to measure impact, understand trends, and advise on data driven decision-making to meet the right audience through the right channel(s)
- Find use cases, success stories and seek opportunities to promote them to a wider audience through appropriate channels, platforms and media
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in OPD and HR and enable them to be ambassadors within the organisation
- Work with a community of project and change managers to weave together the right messaging for various target groups within the organisation

ABOUT YOU

Your professional background

- 5+ years professional experience in digital marketing, communications and community management or related areas
- Typically, with university degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or journalism
- Experience in the area of organisational culture, change or HR is an advantage

Your skills

- Excellent command of English with outstanding writing and speaking skills
- Strategic and analytic thinker who understands and can articulate the commercial value of cultural transformation and people development within the business
- Able to build solid relationships within key stakeholders and to influence at a senior level – strength in building networks and communities
- A sound understanding of digital marketing, social media and the impact data and technology is having on communication, marketing and community management
Interested and passionate about behavioral psychology and able to apply patterns/synergies with organizational culture and behaviour change initiatives
- Curious (journalistic qualities) in order to discover influencers and great stories in the organisation and courageous to experiment and do things differently
- Ability to balance multiple tasks at a time, set clear priorities and to stand firm/push back when needed
- Ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, ambiguous environment where openness to change, resilience and willingness to learn is essential
- Working knowledge of SharePoint would be a plus, but is not a requirement
- Being highly skilled with Microsoft PowerPoint would be a major advantage
