Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will focus on developing and supporting the Asset Management data warehouse operation that is the backbone of AM's analytics & reporting. We also have an important goal to re-engineer the DWH into the public cloud, to which you will contribute as well!

In particular, the role will involve:

• Development and operation of Asset Management DWH.
• Analyse the needs of our business teams and design solutions to improve the business processes and operational procedures.
• Support AM's project of migrating our DWH to the public cloud.
• Full development lifecycle activities: development, deployment, maintenance of various environments or fixing defects
• Ensure smooth operation and system stability, provide 3rd level support of the AM DWH.
• Involvement in the testing cycle, especially unit, regression, and UAT testing
• Creation of accurate and relevant documentation.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Strong proficiency as Oracle developer & PL/SQL, with at least 5+ years of data warehouse development
• Deep hands on experience in Oracle database architecture design and development.
• Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, cursors, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, and parallel processing.
• Proficient in performance tuning using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing and Hints.
• Designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled
• Understanding of data modelling concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with an Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Working in a team distributed in several locations
• Good command of English (both verbal and written)
• Flexible and open to new insights
