Job description, responsibilities and duties

In this role you will provide a broad range of operational and administrative support to the General Counsel of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and members of the Legal Corporate Solutions team. The position demands high energy, can-do attitude and self-confidence.

Your role will be to:
Be a trusted partner to the General Counsel and the Legal Leadership Team by providing timely, high quality support
Organisation of meetings, conference calls and team offsite(s)
Arrange and coordinate travel itineraries including logistics and expense filings
Develop, review and update administrative processes in collaboration with the Legal Leadership Team; support the filing process for various regulatory and other filings globally
Support on-/off-boarding processes
Monitor team budgets and assist with the budget planning process
Support vendor/invoice payment processes
Review/format presentations and other documents
Help with legal research

About the Team
We are a dynamic, diverse, multi-jurisdictional team based in several locations across the globe, providing legal services to the Corporate Solutions Business Unit. Our business in direct insurance business which requires quick adaptation to a changing legal and economic environment.

Are you up for the challenge?

You are:

Seasoned professional with experience supporting management/executives (3 or more years previous experience preferred), prior working experience in legal departments or law firms is a plus.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritise multiple requests and deadlines.
Collaborative and enjoy working across multidisciplinary teams and multiple jurisdictions.
Confident in your ability to work independently. You demonstrate accountability and you are fully reliable, responsive and have high energy.
You are interested in the financial services industry and eager to understand our business models and learn continuously
Recognized by internal clients for your sense of urgency, discreetness and solution-orientation, and by colleagues for being an excellent team player, always happy to assist others and for your good sense of humour.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German, Spanish or Portuguese are a plus).
You have profound proficiency in MS Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
