Do you enjoy working in Finance department, but do not like infinite excel spreadsheets? Would you like to apply more your communication skills rather than numeracy skills?
As a Senior Process Control Analyst, you will play a key role supporting Finance Corporate Solutions management by better understanding risks and strengthening controls. You will work in a highly dynamic environment and will support large transformation initiatives with your expertise. This role will give you an excellent overview of and insight into the workings of a Finance Function and our business in general.
You will interact frequently with the Corporate Solutions Finance teams, Risk Management and Auditors, providing you with a great platform to have an impact and strengthen your profile.

Main responsibilities
• Maintain control and process framework documentation in Swiss Re systems and ensure it is consistent throughout Finance Corporate Solutions
• Monitor Finance Corporate Solutions open issues, support Operational Incident reporting and produce regular reports
• Test internal controls in line with the internal methodology to provide additional assurance to Finance Corporate Solutions management
• Support several compliance activities either as the coordinator or advisor regarding the compliance questions (e.g. Risk and Control Self-Assessment process, End User Application listing, Records Retention)
• Participate in and support projects impacting Finance Corporate Solutions, providing expertise in areas that impact the process and controls environment

About the Team
Finance Standards and Governance Corporate Solutions team consists of one member who is providing governance support to all departments within Finance Corporate Solutions teams based in several locations (in Europe (Bratislava, Zurich), in China, in US (Kansas City, New York) and in Brazil).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About You
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Finance (experience with internal controls & process development and knowledge of IFRS and/or SAP would be an asset)
• Excellent interpersonal skills (team player) as well as ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills (English)
• Desire to build up knowledge spanning various disciplines

• Experience in audit of internal control assessments or previous experience in assessing financial controls, operational risk management or related areas preferred
• Experience in internal control development, process management and risk management
• Excellent interpersonal skills (team player) and ability to work in team environment as well as independently
• Strong communication skills (both Slovak and English)
• High level of abstraction, fast understanding and conceptual thinking, the ability to handle both conceptual and practical issues
• Excellent comprehension, analytical and process management skills
• Ability to frame problems and solutions quickly
• Desire to build up knowledge spanning various disciplines
