Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Proactive maintenance of the centralised reporting database in support of Group and Divisional reporting requirements as specified by the Targeted Standard on Outsourcing and the Transition Service process
- Maintains the Global Outsourcing SharePoint site, coordinates, checks and ensures accurate filing of documentation, performs changes and enhancements, as required. Manages accesses and security of our information.
- Manage the document and information flow needed to support the above activities.
- Maintain physical and electronic office records including due diligence evidences, artefacts and assessments of counterparties - ensure standard methodology is adhered to and follow up any issues raised with internal subject matter experts such as Legal & Compliance.
- Support the governance and tracking activities by which outsourcing service providers are identified, analysed, selected, and classified to the Targeted Standard on Outsourcing, and to ensure that required local legal, compliance, and operational matters have been addressed from a global perspective.
- Responsible for assigned projects related to the Global Outsourcing team operations in the US and Business Service Centres (BSC) in Slovakia and India.
- Assist in the process and activities by which work processes are moved to different Swiss Re locations- work transitions.
- Build various Outsourcing related reports, reviewing and analysing the data gathered to ensure quality standards are met, verification of the final report back to sources of content, and with the domain experts.
- Assist in responding to ad hoc requests for reporting that might be needed to respond to Regulatory or Group Internal Audit requests.
- Perform other position related tasks as instructed by supervisor
- Be cross trained across various service areas within the Global Outsourcing team to effectively cover for team colleagues

You will join a distributed team which currently has people in Bratislava location and others based in the UK, USA, and India. In this role, the successful candidate will learn about us as a global organisation and its structures plus key policies and processes supporting strategic outsourcing. This will include exposure to the various regulatory requirements, standard methodologies, data and innovation that apply to outsourcing oversight. We are looking for a driven, pro-active and conscientious teammate as the role will include involvement in various local and global projects and initiatives with the opportunity to lead some of these!

Personality requirements and skills

About You

Experience:
- At least 5-10 years of working experience in areas of insurance, reinsurance, finance/banking or technology
- Experience with governance, risk management, legal and compliance requirements and best practices relating to data management and information lifecycles (counterparty due diligence and contract experience is advantage)
- Experience in project management methodologies and project management
- Proven experience in data gathering, maintenance, analysis and reporting – experience with oversight and control over inventories and databases is highly advantageous
- Track record of spotting improvements, presenting ideas and developing sound business cases for change, (e.g. making improvements to customer experience, tracking and monitoring of internal customer enquiries)
- A process perspective, Six sigma, Prince II or similar Project Management certification a plus
- Prior experience with multi-location projects
- Comfortable working virtually, and globally
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering high quality results in terms of process, content and timeliness
- Experience in structuring and forming business to business relationships
